Big news: Cobble & Commons is now EverHaven. Same server, same world, same community — new name (and a fresh coat of paint across the site). Here's the what and the why.
Why the change?
From day one, this place has been about one idea: a forever world. Somewhere the time you put in sticks — your builds become landmarks, the map fills with story instead of getting wiped, and the world keeps growing right alongside you.
Lately we've leaned all the way into that. Waystones and travel, custom items, Fishing Mastery, rotating Resource Worlds, NPCs and quests — it's Minecraft with a real thread of MMO and fantasy woven through it. A living world you come home to, not just a server you log into.
"Cobble & Commons" was a lovely name for a survival server, but it never quite captured that. EverHaven does: ever for the forever world, haven for the community — a place that's yours, and that lasts.
Clearing up the confusion
There was a practical reason too. "Cobble" led more than a few people to assume we were a Cobblemon server — the Pokémon-in-Minecraft mod — which we've never been. We'd rather our name tell you exactly what you're walking into, with zero mix-ups. EverHaven leaves no doubt about the kind of world waiting on the other side.
What actually changes
For you? Almost nothing.
- Your world, builds, and progress are 100% untouched. Nothing was reset, moved, or wiped.
- The community is exactly the same — same people, same Discord, same vibe.
- Our new home online is [everhavenmc.com](https://everhavenmc.com).
- The server address is moving to
play.everhavenmc.com— and the oldmc.cobblecommons.comaddress will keep working too, so you don't need to change a thing to keep playing.
Same world you've been building in all along. It just finally has a name that fits.
